Teaching Excellence &

Achievement Program

The Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program is a globally recognized professional development initiative funded by US Department of States for English language secondary school teachers in Pakistan, aimed at improving teaching quality, fostering international collaboration, and advancing inclusive education.
Through a six-weeks academic residency at leading U.S. universities and sustained engagement upon return, the program builds the capacity of educators to implement innovative, learner-centered methodologies and promote equity in the classroom. The TEA Program empowers teachers to become leaders and changemakers within their schools and communities.
In Pakistan, the program has catalyzed widespread impact—supporting over 1,600 educators through TEA small grants and indirectly reaching nearly 50,000 students through improved classroom practices, mentoring, and community-based projects (2019-2024). It also strengthens teacher networks and promotes sustainability in teacher training efforts across both urban and remote areas of Pakistan.
By equipping educators with global exposure and local application, the TEA Program plays a vital role in advancing educational development in Pakistan and strengthening the country's education ecosystem for long-term change.
